In 2007 university group pixelBloom embarked on a mission, to create two amazing 30 second adverts for their mock client, ‘Venn Athletic’. The project consumed the group for an entire semester with a lot of late nights, rendering, pixel pushing but best of all, learning.

I was project manager of the effort which meant overseeing all operations, making decisions and meeting deadlines with the group time line and the university’s. All filming and most post production work was my area of interest and expertise, in operations terms this was filming, capturing, cleaning and exporting footage along with a lot of rotoscoping, mattes, 2D effects, camera tricks and compositing of 3D elements in scenes. Adobe After Effects, Premiere and various other tools were my programs of choice for the project which won the group best 3rd year studio project for the third year running. We were pretty happy campers.
